Resume of Mission:  Photos showed damage caused was 1.3 sq. mi., or 64% of the total built-up area.  54% of the buildings in the RR Marshaling Yard south of the city were destroyed.  19 A/C bombed visually and 112 by radar.  7 A/C were non-effective.  22 E/A sighted made no attacks.  One air-to-air rocket attack was reported.  Heavy caliber flak and AW fire was meager and inaccurate.  3 A/C landed at Iwo Jima.  Average Bomb Load:  15,757 lbs.  Average Fuel Reserve:  783 gallons.
